What’s inside a Galaxy Boxx: Sneak Peek, Silver, Gold and Diamond compared
A Mystery Boxx is a surprise, but buying one should not be a guess. This guide explains what a Galaxy Boxx is, what goes inside, how the four tiers differ, and how plans, delivery and returns work. Everything here comes from the shop’s own pages and our Terms.
What a Galaxy Boxx is
A Galaxy Boxx is a box of authentic, licensed collectibles and merchandise, packed for you around the franchises you love. You tell us at checkout which franchises to pack for, and we source the items. What is inside stays a surprise until you open it.
What goes inside
Each Boxx is different, because it is packed for you. Items come from these kinds of things:
- figures and vinyl collectibles, such as Funko Pop;
- merchandise and accessories;
- replicas;
- keychains and stickers;
- other licensed collectibles from your franchises.
How many items? There is no fixed number. A Boxx holds anywhere from 3 to 15 items, depending on the franchises you choose and what our suppliers have at the time. A higher tier holds more, and more exclusive, items.
We choose the items and cannot promise a particular item or what it would sell for later.
The franchises you can pick
At checkout you tick one to three of these: Pokémon, Marvel, DC Comics, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Dragon Ball Z, Lego, Gaming and Disney. You can also tell us anything else about your interests in a short note.
The four tiers

Each tier up holds more, and more exclusive, items than the tier below.
How plans work
- A plan is billed monthly: the first payment at checkout, then one payment a month for the rest of the term. Each payment pays for one Boxx.
- A plan ends by itself after its last month. It does not renew; we email you before your last Boxx so you can sign up again if you want to.
- Your price stays the same for the whole plan, even if our prices change.
- You can pause a plan in My Account and resume it there. Nothing is charged while it is paused.
- You can change your franchises for later Boxxes by emailing [email protected] with your plan number. A Boxx that has already shipped cannot be changed.
- You can cancel a plan by email with 20 business days’ notice. Ending a 3, 6 or 12 month plan early costs a fee of 10% of the Boxx price of the months not yet paid; each plan’s product page shows an example. Section 5 of our Terms has the details.
A longer plan costs less per Boxx than a once-off Boxx. A once-off Boxx has no commitment at all.
Delivery
Every Boxx is personalised, so it ships about two weeks after your order, or after each monthly payment on a plan. The courier then takes 3 to 5 working days. Delivery is charged on every order, Mystery Boxxes included: R119 by national courier or R79 to a Pudo locker of your choice, anywhere in South Africa.
Buying a Boxx as a gift
Add the name of the person it is for at checkout and we include a personalised gift card in the Boxx. If they love a particular franchise, tick it and add a note about what they already have.
Boxxes for children
For children there is GB Kidz: four themes (Little Scientist, Little Adventurer, Little Collector and Little Hero), each in three sizes. We ask for the child’s first name and age, so the Boxx fits the child. A GB Kidz Boxx also ships about two weeks after your order.
Returns
A Mystery Boxx is personalised, so the usual 7-day cooling-off right does not apply by law. We still accept an unopened, unused Boxx in its original packaging within 7 days of delivery for a refund or exchange. If anything in your Boxx is faulty, tell us within six months of delivery and we will repair, replace or refund it. Our Terms set this out in full.
Common questions
Can I choose a particular item? No. We choose the items from your franchises; that is the surprise. You can tell us what you already own in the note at checkout.
Can I pick more than three franchises? No, one to three per Boxx.
When is my card charged on a plan? On the same day each month as your first payment.
